Justine is a qualified (British Wheel of Yoga 500 hour) yoga teacher who is recognised as an SYT (Senior Yoga Teacher) by Yoga Alliance due to her extensive teaching experience since 2006.
She was introduced to a yogic breathing technique known as 'Nadi Sodhana' and guided meditations by her progressive drama teacher during her early teens. Whilst at University, she developed her own practice using her mother's Lynn Collins yoga book and finally found an Iyengar yoga teacher after having children in her late twenties.
Justine is also a qualified children's yoga teacher and teacher trainer, having developed and delivered her own training programme to Local Education Authorities throughout North West England. She created 'Karmatime' the children's yoga company which introduced thousands of youngsters to story based physical movements, breathing exercises and guided relaxations. A number of licensed teachers carry on the Karmatime legacy whilst Justine now focusses on adult tuition.
Creativity was an intrinsic aspect of Karmatime and Justine illustrated a collection of asanas for her 'Magical Moves Yoga Cards' and visual aids which are available as resources to download and print online. This accompanies her 'Relax… It's Karmatime - Magical Meditations for Children' CD which is available from Amazon.
In addition to her training in yoga, Justine is a Textiles/Fashion design graduate with a PGCE and MA. She is a Reiki Master, life coach, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner and has completed training courses in Brain Gym and Massage in Schools.
Justine is married with two teenage children and lives in Hoylake on the Wirral peninsula where she also runs her textile business, The Wild Dyery.
